Douglas Co. Historical Society is a WA Non-Profit Corp., affiliated with the WA Museum Association.  No local genealogical society is available, however the Historical Society collects genealogical materials on Douglas County which are housed at the Museum.   Service area  includes; Appledale, Brandt's Landing, Bridgeport, Dyer, Entiat, Fairview, Farmer, Leahy, Mansfield, McCarteney, Orondo, Palisades,  Rock Island, Sims Corner, Waterville and Withrow.  
Grant County Genealogical Society     (Inactive)
Service area includes; Beverly, Coulee City, Coulee Dam,  Desert Aire, Ephrata, George, Grand Coulee, Hartline, Krupp, Levering, Mattawa, Moses Lake, Quincy, Royal City, Soap Lake, Trinidad and Warden.

OCGS is a WA Non-Profit Corp.  They provide research services.
Service area includes; Aeneas, Brewster, Chesaw, Conconully, Havillah, Malott, Methow, Molson, Monse, Nighthawk, Okanogan, Omak, Oroville, Pateros, Tonasket, Twisp, Wauconda and Winthrop.

~~Meets 2nd Monday of the month, 2 pm at the Douglas County PUD Auditorium, 1151 Valley Mall Parkway, East Wenatchee.   No meetings in August or December.    
WAGS is a WA Public Benefit Corp.  The WAGS Library is open Tuesdays and Saturdays, 1pm - 4pm and the 1st Friday of the month, 5-7pm, March-October.  Special Collections include; online index to obituaries, databases, surnames and online catalog of resources on their website.  They offer a number of special interest groups.  Service area (Southern Chelan Co.) includes;  Berne, Cashmere, Chiwaukum, Chumstick, Cole's Corner, Dryden, Leavenworth, Malaga, Merritt, Nason Creek, Peshastin,  Plain, Sunnyslope, Telma and East Wenatchee, Wenatchee, Wenatchee Heights and West Wenatchee.
